Part 1 – How Can The iPad Read To Me – Let Me Count The Ways

Presented by the Learning Disabilities Association of Kingston

Part 1: Saturday March 25 10-11:30 am (overview / hands-on)
Part 2: Saturday April 8 10-11:30 am (overview / hands-on)
Practice using some of the built-in iPad tools that help with reading (e.g., turn text into speech, use Siri to tell you answers to questions, declutter web
pages, get definitions of words, selectively have text read aloud, use special fonts, useful apps that can scan-an-image and turn it into text that can be spoken to you).

The workshop consists of 2 parts, both on Saturday mornings. Attendance at both part 1 and part 2 of these two workshops is recommended. This
workshop is intended for those who are just learning to use the iPad.
